Financial Aid

We are pleased to announce that a number of organizations (please see Sponsor Page) have kindly agreed to provide support to the meeting, and we are hoping to receive additional support over the coming months. Our emphasis for support will be to support students who are presenting and people from “third word” countries who are presenting.  However, if additional funds are available (and we are hoping they will be), we will extend support to other participants who are presenting at the meeting. 

To apply for funds you must go to our meeting registration page and register for the meeting. During the registration process, on the payment page, you will be able to apply for funding to participate in the meeting. Please fill out that form fully as part of the registration process for the meeting. If you have any questions about funding, please contact Arthur Popper (apopper@umd.edu). 

Please note that we will be making decisions about funding in March, and so all applications for funding must be submitted by then.  Moreover, funding will not be considered unless the applicant has submitted a title for a talk by December 15 (see Presentation Title Submission) and then a full abstract when it is requested.
